Bellamy Young
Young started her career as an actor in theatre. In 1997, Young made her Broadway debut as Mary in the initial actors of The Life. Also, she appeared Off-Broadway in Stephen Sondheim's Musical Merrily We're Rolling Along (1994) as well as in Randy Newman's Faust (1995-1996). She made her first appearance on television in 1995, playing Dr. Courtney Evans. In addition, she guest-starred on Law & Order in 1997 as well as 1998 in two different role. She made her debut in 1999 when she appeared in Black and White, a crime drama. In the following years, she was a co-star on several independent films. She began guest-starring in television comedies and dramas as early as the 2000s. These include The Drew Carey Show and The X Files. Young has appeared on over thirty TV shows from 2000 and 2011. Young was regularly cast in the USA Network series Peacemakers in 2003. After nine episodes of the show, it stopped after a single episode. It was her turn as a character in the Lifetime series For the People, a show that focuses on the law. Atty. Agnes Hunt on NBC drama American Dreams in 2003 as Diane Shaw, Dr. Grace Miller on NBC Scrubs in 2004 as Monica West, Assistant State Attorney Monica West in CBS CSI: Miami between 2005 and 2006 and Ellen Darling on ABC soap Dirty Sexy Money in 2008-2009 as the youngest son-in law in the Darling Family. From 2011 until 2013, she played Beth Clemmons in Criminal Minds.
