Salma Hayek

SalmaSalma Hayek Pinault born Salma Valgarma Hayek Jamesenez on September 2, 1966, is an American and Mexican actress and producer. Her career began in Mexico in the telenovela Teresa, where she was a lead in the television drama Teresa (1989-1991) as well as the romantic drama El Callejon de los Milagros (1995), which earned her an Ariel Award nomination. Through appearances in films like Desperado (1995), From Dusk till Dawn (1996), Wild Wild West (1999) and Dogma (1999) She quickly made her mark as a leading actress in Hollywood. Hayek's character as Frida Kahlo, a painter, in Frida (2002) The film, which is a biographical film she produced, earned her the Academy Award for Best Actress nomination[6]. She also received her Golden Globe Award and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. Hayek continued to produce and acted in action-oriented film Once Upon a Time in Mexico in the following years.
